Everything else you need before you turn up is below. The full terms and conditions are on the main site; this is the short version.
Getting in
- 1Book online and pay in full. Your booking is confirmed straight away.
- 2Your door codes come by email, usually within 24 hours of booking and always before your session. There is one for the outer door and one for the inner door.
- 3Your codes work from 15 minutes before your session until 15 minutes after it ends.
- 4Outer door first, then the inner door. Keep the inner door shut while you are in.
- 5When you leave, make sure the outer door is locked behind you.
- 6Nobody needs to let you in or lock up. Please leave by the end of your slot: the codes stop working 15 minutes after it.
House rules
- You are responsible for everyone you bring. The room takes up to 10 people.
- Leave on time: the next band, or a lesson, may be straight after you.
- No under-18s after 10pm, and under-16s must be with an adult.
- Music, drama and creative rehearsals only. Use the rehearsal room, kitchen and bathroom; the teaching rooms and studio are not part of the hire.
- No smoking or vaping in the building.
- Tidy up, and tell us about anything broken. Damage is charged to the person who booked.

Questions
Can I cancel or get a refund?
No. Bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded. You can move your session to any free time up to 24 hours before it starts, as many times as you like, from your bookings page. If the Centre ever has to cancel on you, you are not charged.
Can I make my session longer?
Yes, if the room is free after it. From your bookings page, pick how many extra hours you want; you pay the difference between the longer session and the one you booked, so two hours becoming three costs £7. You can do this right up to the end of your session, even while you are in the room.
What is in the room?
16-channel Allen & Heath PA, 3 x Shure SM58 microphones (or similar), 5 XLR cables and kettle leads, 2 x Fender guitar amplifiers, Marshall guitar amplifier, Peavey bass amplifier, Drum shells: bring your own snare and cymbals. Bring your own snare and cymbals. Anything broken or damaged is charged to the person who booked.
How many people can come?
The room takes up to 10 people, and you are responsible for everyone you bring.
Age rules
No under-18s in the building after 10pm. Under-16s must be with an adult at all times.
Where do I park?
Unit 12, Lime Tree Business Park, Lime Tree Road, Matlock, DE4 3EJ. Park on the business park by the unit. If you are bringing a van or a trailer, ring us first.
Which parts of the building can I use?
The rehearsal room, the kitchen and the bathroom. The teaching rooms, the drum room and the studio are not part of the hire. Music, drama and creative rehearsals only.
